At 13:00 on January 1, 2025, the Culture and Sports Department hosted a Chinese Knot Workshop and New Year Wishes Campaign in the 1st Floor Hall of Dormitory 20. A total of 40 participants from the JEI and College of Future Technology joined this event.

The coordinator opened with a brief history of Chinese knots and shared tutorial materials in the event group chat. Students learned that Chinese knots, crafted with red cords into auspicious patterns, symbolize unity, harmony, and good fortune. The art form embodies both decorative beauty and profound cultural significance.

The New Year message board displayed wishes from January 1, 2024. Students wrote their 2025 New Year messages on notes, expressing hopes for family, friends, teachers, and personal aspirations for the future.

Participants immersed themselves in learning Chinese knot techniques, experiencing traditional weaving artistry. The intricate patterns of interwoven red cords, both complex and systematic, represented the Chinese people's united journey through challenges.

The event concluded with students taking commemorative photos in front of the message board with their handmade Chinese knots.

This event aimed to promote Chinese cultural heritage through hands-on experience with traditional knotting and written expressions of New Year wishes.
